Olympic champion and Aramark Ireland Health and Wellness Ambassador, Katie Taylor will host her first-ever Twitter Q&A to celebrate Aramark Ireland’s Right Track Pledge campaign.
On Thursday April 3rd at 5:30pm, Katie will take control of the Right Track Pledge Twitter @RTPledge to answer questions about health and fitness, as well as giving insights into what she’s up to, her motivations and her inspirations.
Simply tweet @RTPledge to submit your questions or use the hashtag #RightTrackKatie.
Speaking ahead of the Q&A session Katie said, “ I’m really excited to take part in a Twitter Q&A as I think Twitter is a great way of getting a message out there, particularly about the importance of health and wellness. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for me to share my tips and experiences with people directly and encourage them to get involved with the Right Track Pledge campaign.”
The Right Track Pledge campaign is an initiative to promote healthy eating and work life balance. Aramark is encouraging people across the country to make their ‘Pledge’ to Katie to change one thing in their lives, be it big or small, physical or emotional wellbeing.
Katie continued, “As well as tweeting me your questions, I want everyone to tweet their pledge. Whether your pledge is to take the stairs, go for a walk at lunch, or join a volunteer organisation, the aim is to get people to think twice about how their choices are affecting them and make one change for the better.”
For each ‘Pledge’ received, Aramark will make a donation of 20 cent to the company’s four chosen charities for 2014 and is aiming to raise a total of €7,000.
There are a number of ways to submit a pledge. People can log on to Twitter and tweet their Pledge using the hashtag #RightTrackPledge or like the Right Track Facebook page and post their pledge. Alternatively, people can log on to Pinterest, follow the Aramark Ireland page and ‘pin’ their pledge to the Right Track Pledge board with a photo or video.
