The nine-time All Star was admitted to the coronary care unit of St Luke’s Hospital in Kilkenny City yesterday evening after he collapsed.
Cary was reported to have been monitored overnight before being released from hospital today.
The 41 year old was admitted to hospital after he collapsed yesterday in the waiting area in Kilkenny city Garda station yesterday morning.
The Gowran native won five All-Ireland titles, 10 Leinster titles, four National Hurling League titles during his 16 year career with the Kilkenny senior hurling side and also claimed two Railway Cup titles with Leinster.
