Declan Ryan has made eight changes to the Tipperary team to play Wexford in the final round of the Allianz National Hurling league this weekend.

Brendan Cummins, Eddie Connolly, Paddy Stapleton, Conor O’Mahony, James Woodlock, Noel McGrath, Sean Carey and Michael Heffernan come into the team in place of Darren Gleeson, Michael Cahill, Padraic Maher, John O’Keeffe, Gearoid Ryan, Patrick Maher, Shane Bourke and Lar Corbett.

Wexford need to beat or draw with Tipperary and hope that Kilkenny beat Offaly to avoid relegation. Wexford and Offaly are both on two points but Offaly have the advantage, as they won the head-to-head battle between the counties.

Tipperary (SH v Wexford): B Cummins; E Connolly, P Curran, P Stapleton; D Young, C O’Mahony, J Coghlan; J Woodlock, S McGrath; B Dunne, N McGrath, S Carey; M Heffernan, P Bourke, J O’Brien
