Eamonn Fitzmaurice has been appointed as the new Kerry Under-21 football manager. The former All-Ireland winner takes over the role recently vacated by John Kennedy.
Fitzmaurice,a teacher by profession, won three championships in his time as a player and then went on to play a pivotal role as a selector with Jack O’Connors team. He has also enjoyed huge success as a player with club side,Finuge and his divisional team, Feale Rangers.
After their recent 22 point loss to Cork, the under-21 team need a lift and Fitzmaurice should be just the man to do this.
