Last year’s Leinster finalists Meath and Louth are set for a repeat of their 2010 meeting in the standout tie of the round after this evening’s draw in Carrick-on-Shannon.

Louth, who lost last year’s final thanks to a controversial Joe Sheridan goal, exited the Leinster Championship of 2011 when they fell to a one point loss to Carlow this afternoon.

The Royals were defeated by Kildare last weekend, thus now setting up a June 25th dual with Louth.

Elsewhere, last year’s beaten All Ireland championship finalists Down face a trip to Ennis to compete with Clare. Wicklow will welcome Sligo to Aughrim and Laois will entertain Tipperary in Portlaoise.

Offaly have a home tie against Monaghan, while Westmeath will travel to Casement Park to face Antrim.

London, who very nearly caused a major upset against Mayo, are rewarded for their efforts with a tie against Ulster strugglers Fermanagh.

Cavan will have home advantage for their tie with Longford.

Full details of throw in times will be announced tomorrow by the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee.

Sportsnewsireland.com will have live score updates on all GAA Championship matches over the summer.
