Tomás Brady returns to the Dublin team for tomorrow night’s Leinster Senior Hurling Championship semi-final against Galway in Tullamore.
Brady missed Dublin’s opening Championship game against Offaly with a knee injury but has now recovered. The Blues struggled to win that match although they were hot favourites and star player Alan McCrabbe feels that the side will have to improve to beat Galway. He believes the tribesmen will be out to show what they are capable of, after a poor performance against Westmeath:
“We knew that Westmeath would give Galway a game but we wouldn’t take too much out of it. Against us, they’ll have a different team with a totally different set-up. We’ll look after ourselves and see how we get on against them. This will be our biggest challenge. The league was a bonus at the end of the day but the Championship is your main thing.
“We went in against Offaly but the main thing was to come out with a win. We’re going to have to up that an awful lot going into the Galway game. We know Galway are biting at the bit to get at us and knock us down from the league final. So it’s down to us to get a performance on the day.
