Wexford manager Colm Bonnar has resigned in the wake of Wexford’s 6 point defeat at the hands of Limerick.

The Tipperary, who has been in charge for 3 years, could only watch on as Limerick eased into the next round of the qualifiers with a 1-22 to 2-13 win on Saturday evening in the Gaelic grounds.

The margin of victory could have been bigger but for a late wexford goal from Rory Jacob but in truth Limerick were the hungrier of the two sides and deserved their win.
