Dublin’s Diarmuid Connolly has escaped disciplinary action over an off-the-ball incident against Kildare in the O’Byrne Cup semi-final.

The Dublin forward’s knee appeared to make contact with the head of Kildare’s Ciaran Fitzpatrick.

Leinster’s Competition Controls Committee examined footage of the incident and decided no charge was necessary.

Connolly also escaped punishment in August after he was cleared to play in the All-Ireland final.
