St Patricks Drumcondra and GMIT go head to head for the Keogh Cup having dispatched all before them over the course of the campaign.

Pats hammered Meath in the semi final by a whopping 5-16 to 1-16 thanks to three goals from Kevin Nimmo and such a result a daunting marker for their final opponents.

GMIT were made to work much harder for their semi final victory over Trinity. The Technology Institute were taken to extra time by their student counterparts before eventually pulling away to win by six points 2-21 to 2-15.

They will rely heavily on free taker Jimmy Gelston for points. The dead ball specialist struck twelve points in the semi final.

For Pats the likes of Nimmo, 2010 Munster minor hurler of the year Niall Arthur and Tom Breen are the danger men and if the Cup is going to reside on the Galway-Mayo campus stopping those men from having space will be the key.
