The abandoned league match between Mayo and Dublin was rescheduled for a second time yesterday.
Heavy fog caused the match to be called off at half-time on Saturday and it was originally rescheduled for this Saturday.
After complaints the match would be too close to Sunday’s inter-provincial matches, the game will now be played on March 31st.
Saturday’s match was cancelled with Dublin down to 14 men but winning by 0-8 to 0-5.
Both managers have expressed a desire for the match to be moved to Croke Park.
Mayo manager James Horan said: “I never mind playing in Croke Park. We will see what the CCCC come up with. Are we allowed to play on Friday nights? I wouldn’t have a problem with a midweek game.”
Dublin manager Pat Gilroy said: “I think it would be great to play it in Croke Park. But if we have to go back to Castlebar, we have to come back down and it will be no big deal.”
