Monaghan will take on Louth at Clones after the county won their appeal against the decision to change the venue of the game to Drogheda

The game had initially been moved because of incidents in the Monaghan v Kildare match in February which saw both counties fined and several individual players suspended.

Having been well beaten last time out by Tyrone Louth will be looking for a big performance in order to get their promotion campaign back on track.

Monaghan also lost last time out to Derry so both sides will have plenty to motivate them going into this one

Team news

Louth have relied on the likes of Darren Clarke and All Star Paddy Keenen for points throughout the campaign and will be boosted by Keenan’s return after he missed much of the second half against Tyrone after receiving a red card.

Tommy Freeman made his return as a substitute in the loss to Derry and after impressing in a cameo role could be in line to start this one.

This would be a welcome boost to the forward line which has leaned heavily on Paul Finlay (0-11 so far) for its points. Conor McManus remains out for the immediate future.
