Updated: March 12, 2012

Longford made it four wins from four in Division three as they ran out comfortable winners over Sligo by a margin 1-16 points to 1-08.

Glenn Ryan’s side are now looking good for back to back promotions and with the soccer team sitting top of the League of Ireland division one table, it really is a good time to be a Longford fan.

Free scoring Wexford are up to second in the table following a big 1-21 to 2-05 win away to Offaly while Val Andrew’s Cavan impressed in a 4-10 to 0-14 win over Tipperary in Thurles, to leave the Premier County searching for their first win.
