The third round of matches in the Allianz Hurling League Division 3A take place at 2.30 on Sunday with unbeaten Monaghan’s clash with fourth placed Louth at Inniskeen the highlight.
The Ulster County has made a great start to their league campaign, beating Donegal 1-18 to 1-11 and securing a five point victory over Fingal. Louth lost their opener by four points to Fingal, while the Leinster side drew 1-16 to 2-13 against Sligo last week.
Tyrone have also begun the season with two victories, beating Sligo and Donegal by 12 and 11 points respectively. The Ulstermen should face a stiffer test in Swords on Sunday against Fingal, who have beaten Louth and lost to Monaghan by five points last week.
Sligo travels to Letterkenny to face bottom-of-the-table Donegal. Donegal have lost both games so far to Monaghan and Tyrone by a combined 18 points. Sligo’s only point came in a draw with Louth, with the Connaught side losing to Tyrone on the opening day of the league season.
