McGrath appointed Waterford selector

Former Deise star Ken McGrath has been appointed as a selector to the Waterford senior hurling team.

McGrath, whose appointment was confirmed by manager Michael Ryan confirmed to WLRfm Sport, will take over the role vacated by the departure of selector Nicky Cashin.

McGrath will take up the role immediately beginning with this weekend’s Allianz Hurling League Division 1A match with Galway at Pearse Stadium.

Three time All Star McGrath played centre-back for Waterford from 1996 until 2011, winning four Munster SHC titles, and one National Hurling League crown during that time.
