Mayo have recalled Richie and Alan Feeney to the panel after the pair missed Sunday’s encounter with Cork.
The players were omitted from Mayo’s match-day squad for disciplinary reasons, but will return to training tonight.
The Mayo board have not revealed the reasons for the disciplinary action, but it is believed to be related to Mayo’s fixture with Donegal.
According to the Irish Independent, a Mayo county board spokesman said: “The two Feeneys were released from the panel last week for disciplinary reasons but they are still training with the squad.
“They were with the squad (on Sunday) at the match, and will be training (on Tuesday night) and will be available for selection if needed.”
Mayo manager James Horan did not reveal the reason for the Feeneys absence after the match, saying: “We had a match-day 26 today. We have an open panel all the time.”
