Sunday’s Ulster Football Club Semi Final features the two clubs who have won the most provincial titles.

Crossmaglen hold seven titles (last one in 2008) while Burren have five titles (last one in 1988). Crossmaglen dethroned Ulster and All-Ireland champions, St.Gall’s in the quarter-final, winning by 1-12 to 0-9. Oisin McConville kicked 1-6 for Crossmaglen.

Burren beat Coleraine 1-12 to 0-5 in their quarter-final. It was a very impressive performance by Burren, for whom Sean Murdock starred scoring 1-3.

Johnny Hanratty will play for Crossmaglen Rangers after the midfielder won his appeal against the red card he was shown for a high tackle on Kevin Niblock in the win over St Gall’s

In what is certain to be a very competitive, tight encounter on Sunday, Crossmaglen may have the edge in experience that sees them home in front.
