Ciaran Kilkenny proved the star man as the Metropolitans hammered Louth by 11 points running out 1-16 to 0-08 winners.
The dual Dublin under 21 star tormented the Wee County’s defense throughout as the young Castleknock forward helped himself to a total of 1-07 and was the main difference between the two sides.
Dublin scored a goal in the opening minute and Louth ‘keeper Joe Flanagan produced three fantastic saves in the opening half to see the Wee County still in touch; 1-07 to 00-4 at the interval.
Dublin played into the wind in the second half but had the game wrapped up within ten minutes off the re-start with Kilkenny reeling off five unanswered points to see his side lead 1-12 to 0-04.
Both sides emptied their respective benches from their as Dublin strolled to a facile win.
