The 2013 Senior Football Championship is now well and truly underway and this weekends fixtures see current All Ireland Champions Donegal make their Championship reappearance in a tricky Ulster quarter-final against Tyrone.
Donegal who are priced at 11/2 with Boylesports to retain the Sam Maguire are 8/11 to overcome League finalists Tyrone (6/4). Tyrone, who put a stiff challenge up to Dublin in the League Final, is available at 11/1 with Boylesports to win the All Ireland which they last did in 2008.
Sunday also sees action in Leinster where Longford are 4/7 to beat Wicklow in Aughrim whilst Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker has priced Laois at 8/15 to beat Louth and set up a Leinster quarter-final clash with Wexford.
In Munster, Kerry are red hot favourites at 1/33 to see off the challenge of Tipperary ( 10/1) and book a place in the Munster semi-final against Waterford whilst neighbours Cork are 1/10 to defeat Limerick (7/1) and set up a semi-final clash with Clare.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports, commented “It’s another busy weekend of provincial football with the highlight been Donegal V Tyrone.”
He added “In Connacht, Sligo travel to London and the Yeats County are 2/7 to gain victory and set up a semi-final clash with Leitrim.”
