Fantasy5live Three to Watch:

Damian Hayes (Right Corner-Forward): Kilkenny stifled the threat of Hayes successfully the first time round with his withdrawn position not proving as effective as it was in the Leinster final. After failing to score last time out, there is no doubt however that the Portumna man will be keen to put in a big performance akin to his four point performance against Cork or the 1-3 he scored against Offaly back in June in the Leinster semi final.

Henry Shefflin (Left Wing-Forward): The veteran just seems to be getting better and better as the season goes on and Brian Cody will be delighted with how his talisman has come good in recent weeks. Shefflin scored 12 points last time out, 11 of them from placed balls, taking his tally to 3-47 for the season. The 33 year old is aiming for a ninth All Ireland and with time not on his side what better time to bow out with a history making match winning performance.

Joe Canning (full-forward): Much has been made of Canning’s comments about referee’s and Henry Shefflin and while the actual message may have been missed the talent of the 23 year old has not. Canning has a fine final the first time round scoring 1-09 with 1-01 coming from play. Some of his scores from placed ball were fantastic especially given the angles he was working from and he showed great bottle to land the equalising point minutes after missing a free. Canning has scored 1-41 so far this season and Galway will look for one last titanic effort from the Portumna man on Sunday.
