Junior football final: Kerry v Mayo live score commentary

UPDATE: Kerry beat Mayo 0-19 to 1-7 in splendid fashion, with Conor Cox taking seven points and Niall O’Mahony taking five as Mayo could not live with the fast pased attacking of the Kingdom.

Mayo and Kerry will face off in Cusack Park today in the 2012 All-Ireland junior football final, and you can follow all the action with our live score commentary from 2.30pm.


The final is tipped to be a high class affair following superb performances from both sides in their provincial and semi-final victories.

Kerry easily outclassed Cavan in their 1-16 to 2-6 semi-final win, with Former All-Ireland U21 winner Mike O’Donoghue and Listowel youngster Conor Cox racking up 1-7 of the points between them.

Mayo had to travel to Manchester to take on All-Britain champions Lancashire in their semi-final, with the exiles easily brushed aside following a ten point lead going into half time.
