Eamonn Fitzmaurice will be hoping to record a third win in charge of the Kingdom following wins over IT Tralee and UCC in the previous two rounds. Limerick enter this game on the back of an extra time win over Clare in Foynes last Sunday.

Limerick got their season off to a positive start with a 2-16 to 2-13 extra time win over Mick O’Dwyer’s Clare last Sunday. Captain Ian Ryan was to the fore, scoring 1-7 for the Treaty County.
Kerry had a comfortable 24 point win over IT Tralee in the opening round of the Mc Grath cup with Paul Geaney contributing 2-4 for the Kingdom. Last Sunday, Kerry accounted for UCC with eight points to spare, with Patrick Curtin helping himself to 2-2.
