We have live score commentary updates from this afternoons minor hurling All-Ireland semi-final between Kilkenny v Waterford, we also preview the match and have the latest team news. Throw in 1;30pm.
Waterford were quite impressive in Munster. They had a good win against Cork and should have held out in the Munster final draw with Limerick. While they were beaten in the replay they find themselves in an All-Ireland semi final against neighbours Kilkenny. They have some excellent players in Austin Gleeson and Shane Bennett in the half-back line and up front Stephen Bennet and Patrick Curran look like senior stars for the future.
Kilkenny won the Lenister title but they did not have things their own way. They lost to Wexford but they cam through the back door and had a comfortable win over Laois in the Leinster final. Now that the senior and under-21 sides are out of the championship, the minors are the only team capable of winning an All-Ireland and they will be determined to do so.

Players to Watch
Austin Gleeson – Waterford
He was phenomenal at centre-back in the Munster championship and Waterford will look to him to lead the defence. A star for the future who is reminiscent of fellow Mount Sion man Ken McGrath.
Alan Murphy – Kilkenny
He has been impressive for Kilkenny particularly in the free taking department. Kilkenny will need him to find the target to keep the score board ticking over.
Minor is such a hard grade to predict. As we know, anything can happen when teams get to Croke Park. I think Waterford could pull through here.
