Tipperary 2-11 Dublin 2-10

Miriam Campion’s injury time strike gave Tipperary victory in Drumcondra and kept their slim qualification hopes alive.  Ali Maguire’s goal looked to have clinched Dublin their first win before Campion’s winner.  A long-range free from keeper Faye McCarthy resulted in a first half Dublin goal as they led 1-5 to 0-6 at half-time before Mary Ryan got Tipperary’s first goal.

Kilkenny 2-12 Waterford 0-14

The All-Ireland champions were made work for their win in Carriganore to put themselves in pole position for semi-final qualification.  Miriam Walsh replied to a strong Waterford start and points for Julie Anne Malone gave Kilkenny a 1-5 to 0-5 interval lead.  Beth Carton got 13 points for the Deise but Denise Gaule’s second half major sealed it for Kilkenny.
