Roscommon v Tyrone: Preview, team news & Live score commentary

Updated: September 1, 2013

Roscommon take on Tyrone in the  All Ireland Minor Semi-finals with a throw in time of 1:30pm. We have live score commentary updates along we team news and betting advice.

Both teams have enjoyed dominant spells at underage over the past few years and the meeting at headquarters promises to throw up an interesting clash. Both of these teams have tasted defeat in this year’s championship with Tyrone losing out to Monaghan in the Ulster decider.

Roscommon, on the other hand would have been majorly disappointed when their three in a row bid for Connaught titles was brought to a halt by Mayo in emphatic style.
Both teams have turned their seasons around since then and Roscommon might be seen as favourites following their fantastic victory over All-Ireland favourites Kildare. A big game will be expected of Diarmuid Murtagh and his name-sake McGann if they are to progress

Tyrone had to come through a tough test last day out when Kerry brought them to extra-time.  However, they were very assured in extra time and had some great performances in the forward line. They had a lot of critics about their style of play and many a neutral supporter will be hoping for a Roscommon victory.
