Following their 5-18 to 0-20 thrashing over Waterford last weekend, Boylesports have cut All-Ireland winning champions, Clare, into 13/8 favourites from 5/2 to win the National Hurling League Division 1 outright.
Clare will face Galway (9/1 to win Division 1 Outright) this weekend and the Banner County are red hot at 4/11 to continue their winning streak whilst Galway are priced at 5/2 with a draw on offer at 11/1.
Kilkenny, who will be bidding to win a 17th NHL title, suffered defeat to Dublin last weekend and as a result, the Cats have been eased out to 5/2 from 15/8 for Division 1 glory. Brian Cody’s side are 1/5 to get back to winning ways against Waterford (4/1) on Sunday with a draw priced at 12/1.
Dublin, who shocked Kilkenny at the weekend, have shortened into 12/1 from 14/1 for NHL glory whilst Anthony Daly’s squad are 6/4 to record an away win over Tipperary (8/13) on Sunday.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “The NHL is still all to play for with current All-Ireland Champions, Clare, proving popular at 13/8 having been available at 5/2 prior to their 13 point win over Waterford.”
He added “Despite being eased out to 5/2 following their defeat to Dublin, punters certainly think that Kilkenny will get back to winning ways against Waterford this weekend and they have supported the Cats into 1/5 from 1/4 to record the victory.”
