Ireland’s Sarah McCormack (Clonliffe Harriers AC) has unfortunately had to withdraw from the European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, Serbia on December 8th.

McCormack picked up a toe injury last week and has struggled to shake it off to be fit in time for the European championships. She will be replaced on the senior women’s team by Sarah Mulligan (Dundrum South Dublin).

Mulligan finished seventh in the trial race and was a member of the Irish women’s team that won bronze medals at the World Mountain Running Championships in Krynica-Zdroj, Poland in September.
