The 2013 Irish Sponsorship Awards take place on Wednesday night in Dublin and Boylesports can report that the betting on the Best Irish Sports Sponsorship has proven very popular in the past few days.
Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker has been nominated along with Punchestown Racecourse for the Best Irish Sports Sponsorship Award for their sponsorship of the Boylesports.com Champion Chase at the Punchestown Festival.
On Tuesday morning Boylesports had to slash the odds into 6/4 from 2/1 on the firm winning the Best Irish Sports Sponsorship Award as they seen a surge of money come both online and through retail.
Boylesports can also report that Paralympics Ireland are proving popular at 5/2 and are the second biggest loser whilst there has also been a small bit of interest in the Eflow FAI Summer Schools at 5/1.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “We have seen another surge of money for Boylesports and Punchestown Racecourse on Tuesday morning to land the Best Irish Sports Sponsorship Award and therefore we had no option but to cut the odds into 6/4 from 2/1 as we currently stand to lose a four figure sum if Boylesports and Punchestown Racecourse can manage to win the award on Wednesday night.”
He added “We at Boylesports and the staff at Punchestown Racecourse are delighted to be nominated for such a high profile award and that our Punchestown Festival sponsorship has been recognised at the top level of sport sponsorship.”
