The full draw for Champions League play-off round to place on Friday morning and Celtic FC have been drawn against Shakhter Karagandy of Kazakhstan in what seems to be one of the easiest possible draws for Neil Lennon’s team as they bid to reach the group stages.
Arsenal on the other hand have been handed a tough task after they were drawn to face Turkish club Fenerbahce.
Amazingly Fenerbahce have been banned from competing in Europe by UEFA for match-fixing in domestic competition. But are awaiting a Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decesion that will not be known until after the tie’s have been completed. UEFA said no decision has yet been made regarding what would happen in the event of Fenerbahce winning the tie and losing their CAS appeal.
Two former European champions have been drawn together as AC Milan face PSV Eindhoven. Olympique Lyon were also given a difficult tie against Real Sociedad
