Leinster Hurling – Preview of London v Laois

Updated: May 18, 2014

We have live score updates as Laois will make the trip across the water to face London in Ruislip in the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Round Robin Round 4 this Sunday.

Both counties will be competing for a place in the quarter-finals proper this weekend (Throw-In at 1pm), where either Wexford or Galway await.

Since the first round of the Round Robin series took place on 27 April, London, Laois, Carlow, Antrim and Westmeath have all been battling it out with one another for a spot in the last eight.

Seamus Plunkett’s O’Moore County have overcome Westmeath and Carlow thus far, and a win for midlanders in the English capital would set up a decider against Antrim the following weekend.

The Exiles, meanwhile, must win to have any hope of emerging from the Round Robin.

Despite losing to Antrim by seven points last week, Tommy Harrell’s men produced a battling performance and are sure to be competitive at home.

London team: tba.

Laois team: Eoin Reilly; John A Delaney, Brian Campion, Brian Stapleton; Joe Fitzpatrick, Matthew Whelan, Dwane Palmer; Conor Dunne, Patrick Whelan; John Purcell, Willie Hyland, Stephen Maher; Neil Foyle, Ross King, Tommy Fitzgerald.
