The PFA Player of the Year shortlist was announced on Friday with three Liverpool players in the nominations.
Boylesports has installed Luis Suarez as the red hot 1/16 favourite to claim the title whilst his nearest rival in the betting is team mate Steven Gerrard who is priced at 12/1 to win his second award having last been crowned the winner in the 2005/06 season.
Both Suarez and Gerrard’s teammate Daniel Sturridge is also another on the shortlist and the England striker, who has scored twenty Premier League goals so far this season, can be backed at 28/1 to be awarded the coveted crown.
Also nominated for the top prize are Chelsea forward Eden Hazard (25/1), Manchester City playmaker Yaya Toure (33/1) and Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana, who is the outsider of the six players at 40/1.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “Luis Suarez has had a stellar season and already has scored 29 Premier League goals. He’s no doubt installed as the red hot favourite at 1/16 to win the PFA Player of the Year.”
He added “Steven Gerrard is having a tremendous season and although the 12/1 second favourite he is sure to have his supporters.”
