JP McManus 5/6 to own Kerry National winner
Quantitativeeasing heads the betting at 8/1
The feature of the Listowel Harvest Festival takes place on Wednesday with a maximum of eighteen runners set to go to post. Boylesports has seen plenty of money for the Enda Bolger trained and Galway Plate runner-up Quantitativeeasing who is now the 6/1 favourite for the prestigious race.
Galway Plate winner Carlingford Lough who is also owned by JP McManus is currently second favourite at 8/1 whilst Jacksonslady who was third in the Galway Plate is available at 8/1.
McManus owns six of the runners in the Kerry National and Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker is offering 5/6 that the winner will be owned by the Limerick man.
Eric McNamara who saddled Faltering Fullback to win the race last year will be represented by Questions Answered who has been supported from 12/1 into 10/1.
Boylesports has also seen some support for the Tony Martin trained and Gigginstown House Stud owned Gift of Dgab who is now 12/1 having been installed at 20/1.
Tom George saddles the only English raider Chartreux and he is priced at 16/1 to land the spoils.
Leon Blanche, Head of Communications at Boylesports said “A maximum field of eighteen is set go to post for the Kerry National with JP McManus owning six of these runners.”
He added “Our biggest liability at the moment is Quantitativeeasing having been supported from 12/1 into clear 6/1 favourite.”
