We have two bits of advice for the afternoon meeting at Navan, the first runs at 4:15pm and the second at 4:45pm

4:15pm Navan

Howya Hurricane at 6/1 with is an interesting runner on handicap debut for the father and son team of Gerry and Colin Keane. She ran well enough on two handicaps run without having hard races, and she can go well at a big price.

Colin Keane is still chasing Connor King in the jockey’s apprentice title, and this one is sure to improve from her maiden runs.

The daughter of Hurricane Run was just beaten over 4 lengths on her 2nd start at Roscommon over 7 furlongs staying on well, and the trip of 1 mile looks perfect. 1  point each way.

4.50 Navan -

Beach of Falesa 9/2 with seems to have found another winning opportunity here for the Ballydoyle team. She has been set some lofty targets recently, running in listed and group races, this winnable handicap where she carries top weight will be more to her liking.

The daughter of Dylan Thomas has won 2 times on heavy ground and will appreciate the dig in the ground.

She is always held up for a late run, and in energy sapping soft ground if they go to quick it will play right into her hands. Joseph O Brien takes the ride and she should go very close. 1 point win.
