Noel Hayes appointed Commercial Director for Tote Ireland

Tote Ireland announced the appointment of Noel Hayes as Commercial Director of Tote Ireland, Horse Racing Ireland’s pool- betting subsidiary.

Mr Hayes will join the Tote in March from Boylesports where he most recently held the post of Head of Sportbook with responsibility for the non-retail business divisions. Prior to Boylesports, Noel held a number of positions within the Paddy Power group most recently as Poker Retention and VIP Manager and previously as Poker Product and Operations Manager. Noel brings with him a wealth of experience from Commercial, Operations, Customer and Product facing roles which should see him adapt seamlessly to this new challenge.

Noel holds a Masters degree in Finance and Capital Markets from DCU is originally from Offaly and has a strong personal passion for the horse racing industry and has been a regular racegoer and owner for many years.

The future success of Tote Ireland will depend on building strong revenue streams across several channels and Noel has tremendous experience of doing that with both Paddy Power and Boylesports. In addition Noel’s passion for the industry and commitment to excellence made him the ideal person for this newly created role. The next few years promise to be very exciting for Tote Ireland and its customers”.
