Trainer Jessica Harrington today confirmed that Jezki will line up in the €200,000 Grade 1 RACING POST CHAMPION HURDLE at Punchestown on Friday, May 2, when he will take on Hurricane Fly.

“Jezki is great and the plan is to go to Punchestown for the Racing Post Champion Hurdle,” said Harrington.

“He wore a hood at Cheltenham and it helped him settle. It definitely made a difference and I think he can confirm the form with the others.

“He won impressively at Punchestown last year and won the Hatton’s Grace at Fairyhouse going right-handed, so I don’t think you can say too much about him preferring to go either way round.”

Cheltenham runner-up My Tent Or Yours has been entered by British champion trainer Nicky Henderson, while Hurricane Fly’s stablemates Annie Power, Diakali, Quevega and Un De Sceaux are also engaged. The Liquidator, winner of last season’s Grade 1 Champion Irish National Hunt Flat Race at Punchestown for trainer David Pipe, also has an entry.
