Rubi Light has been cut to as short as 5-1 for the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham after easily winning the Grade 2 Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park on Saturday.

The Robbie Hennessy trained horse was sent to post the 2-5 favourite and easily beat his four rivals, with Andrew Lynch barely having to move his hands.

Boylesports cut him to 5-1 (from 6) for the Ryanair, the race he was third in last year. He is now joint favourite with Noble Prince.

“You couldn’t ask for more,” said Hennessy jnr. “He is a stronger horse this season. That was impressive andgoes for the Ryanair although the ground wouldn’t want to be too quick.”
