Sire De Grugy is currently 15/8 to follow up his recent Kempton win and land the Clarence House Chase at Ascot on January 18th.

Somersby who will be bidding to get back to winning ways following his second to Sire De Grugy in the Tingle Creek at Sandown back in early December has been the subject of support and is now 6/1 having been installed at 7/1 on Tuesday evening.

Nicky Henderson’s Captain Conan is currently second favourite at 9/2 whilst the John “Shark” Hanlon trained Hidden Cyclone is currently 7/1.

Hidden Cyclone may also be joined in the race by Aintree Grade One winner Special Tiara who is currently 12/1 whilst Paul Nicholls may have two runners in the form of Hinterland (8/1) and Kauto Stone (14/1).

Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “Sire De Grugy is a worthy 15/8 favourite for the Clarence House Chase following his excellent round of jumping at Kempton last time out. He added “We have laid Somersby at 7/1 on Wednesday morning and have had to shorten him into 6/1 following demand for the Mick Channon ten-year-old on Wednesday morning.
