Munster will be hoping to secure their third win of the RaboDirect Pro12 season when they visit Treviso on Friday night.

The men in red will be buoyed by 2 bonus won in their first two games and their ranks will be swelled by the return of a trio of Irish internationals. Recent Lions Peter O’Mahony and Simon Zebo join 2009 Keith Earls in a strong line up.

This will be O’Mahony’s first start as Munster captain and the Cork native will be keen to mark his mark considering the big shoes that Paul O’Connell has left to be filled. O’Mahony is joined by Niall Ronan and James Coughlan in the back row following Tommy O’Donnell’s knee injury sustained against Zebre ruling him out for a possible 3 months. Penny has switched his halfback pairings for this game with Williams and Keatley coming in for Sheridan and Hanrahan.

Munster’s Heineken Cup opener against Edinburgh is just under 3 weeks away and Munster will host Newport and Leinster in the the next rounds of RaboDirect games so it’s a big couple of weeks for these Munster players to stake their claim for a starting spot.
