Declan Kidney has announced the Ireland team to play Fiji in Thomand Park this Saturday, with the Ireland manager resting a number of key players ahead of next weekend’s match with Argentina.

Boylesports are offering Ireland -22 at 10/11

Ireland need to beat Argentina to stop from slipping into the third ranked seedings for the World Cup and though captain Jamie Heaslip said that this week is “all about Fiji” Kidney’s selection suggests otherwise.

Ireland XV v Fiji: Hurley, McFadden, Cave, L Marshall, Gilroy, Jackson, Murray, Kilcoyne, Cronin, Ross, O’Callaghan, Touhy, Henderson, Muldoon. Heaslip

Replacements: Strauss, Healy, Bent, Ryan, Henry, P Marshall, Sexton, Zebo

Delighted for John Muldoon, seems crazy that this is not a full international.
