Irish rugby team to play South Africa: Heaslip named captain

Jamie Heaslip will captain the Ireland team against South Africa on Saturday, as Declan Kidney named a weakened team after Brian O’Driscoll, Paul O’Connell, Rory Best & Rob Kearney had to drop out due to injury.

Kidney spoke of preparing for the future of Irish rugby and the ‘natural progression’ in the squad.
