Munster rugby captain waiting on scan results

Munster rugby captain Peter O’Mahony underwent a scan on his injurded left shoulder on Monday he will get the results this evening when he meets with a specialist.

O’Mahony was replaced after 19 minutes on Saturday after over-extending his left shoulder.

It has been revealed that try-scorer Casey Laulala sustained a broken bone in his right hand and he too will meet with the specialist tomorrow for a further update.

There was positive news for academy prop Rory Burke who sustained a neck injury in the B&I Cup game after he received the all-clear following an x-ray and scan post-match.
