Damian Varley will lead Munster once again on friday evening when they travel to Scotland to play Glasgow in the RaboDirect PRO12 semi-final on Friday evening.
In all four changes have been made from the team that lost to Ulster in Thomond Park last weekend. The most notable of these being the return of Keith Earls to the wing. Earls has not featured for the team since the Heineken Cup semi-final loss to Toulon nearly three weeks ago.
Elsewhere BJ Botha returns to the team at tight-head following the birth of his daughter. The other two changes to the outfit are the reintroduction of Conor Murray and CJ Stander. A loss for the Province would see head coach Rob Penney’s tenure with the team come to an end as he is moving on this summer.
In a surprising move by Glasgow ahead of the game, Stuart Hogg has been left out of the match day twenty-three. Against Zebre in the final round of games, the British & Irish Lions player scored two tries in an impressive performance.
Kickoff for the game is at 19:35 in Scotsdoun, with a place in the grand final against either Leinster or Ulster up for grabs for the winner.
