Brian O’Driscoll could return in April

Brian O’Driscoll could make his Leinster return in April, according to the Evening Herald.

O’Driscoll played through shoulder pain during last year’s Six Nations and World Cup and had surgery on a trapped nerve back in November.

The surgery was supposed to keep O’Driscoll sidelined for six months, but Leinster head coach Joe Schmidt has now said he is “very confident” about the Irish centre returning in April, slightly ahead of schedule.
