Pro 14 results – Dragons beat under performing Connacht Rugby

It was another bad night at the office for Kieran Keane as Connacht coach he seen his side get outplayed by the Dragons.

Dragons 21-8 Connacht

Bernard Jackman lead the Dragons to an easy win over a very poor Connacht side who got totally outplayed in the first half and only played slightly better in the second half.

Hallam Amos opened the scoring early but Carty his a penalty to leave it 5-3 after 10minutes, but another try and three penalties from Gavin Henson and a scrum try gave the home side a 21-3 lead at half time.

There was only one score in the second half and that was from Quinn Roux but it was nowhere near enough for Connacht who now have lost two of their first three matches.

Connacht: (15-9) Tiernan O’Halloran, Darragh Leader, Tom Farrell, Bundee Aki, Rory Scholes, Jack Carty, Caolin Blade, (1-8) Denis Coulson, Tom McCartney, Conor Carey, Quinn Roux, James Cannon, Eoghan Masterson, Jake Heenan, John Muldoon.

Replacements (16-23): Dave Heffernan, Peter McCabe, Dominic Robertson-McCoy, Gavin Thornbury, Jarrad Butler, Kieran Marmion, Steve Crosbie, Eoin Griffin.
