The RaboDirect Pro 12, like all other professional rugby tournaments, will be decided by way of a play-off.
Leinster Rugby and Ospreys are already guaranteed a home fixture for the semi-finals, with their opponents yet to be decided. Munster are certain of finishing in the top four, but whether that is in third or fourth place is yet to be decided. Glasgow Warriors, Scarlets and Ulster meanwhile are all still in contention for the final play-off spot.
Glasgow Warriors remain favorites for that final play-off spot. Two points from their final game with Connacht, would ensure the Scottish side of a place in the semi-finals. Anything less however and Scarlets or Ulster could catch them.
Ulster need a bonus point win and other results to go their way to progress and should Scarlets fail to pick up five match points from their game, then, dependent upon other results, the number of wins and even points difference could come into play to separate the teams.
