EDINBURGH, Scotland (AP) — Lee Jones will make his debut for Scotland as part of a much-changed team for its opening match in the Six Nations against fierce rival England on Saturday.

The 23-year-old winger has been brought in after an impressive first half of the season with Edinburgh, which has qualified for the knockout stage of the Heineken Cup for the first time in eight years.

Backrow forwards David Denton and Ross Rennie will make their first starts for Scotland, with coach Andy Robinson making eight changes to the team from its most recent test — a 16-12 loss to England in the World Cup group stage.

Lock Jim Hamilton, halfbacks Chris Cusiter and Dan Parks, center Nick De Luca and fullback Rory Lamont have also been called up for the match at Murrayfield.
