St Mary’s College and Garryowen meet in Division One of the AIL this Saturday at Templeville Road. The visitors currently lie second in the table behind runway leaders Lansdowne.
A win for the Limerick side would keep them right in the hunt for a place in the final, and it has to be victory at all costs this weekend. St Mary’s are in sixth place and need a bonus point win or two in their next couple of games, if they are to move up the table.
Form
St Mary’s beat Dolphin 20-18 at home in the previous round, while Garryowen easy 38-3 winners against UL Bohs. St Mary’s had beaten Cork Con the week before, while Garryowen went down to Lansdowne. Both these sides have hit form at the right time and supporters can expect another tight game here.
Players To Watch
Gavin Dunne has been outstanding with the boot for St Mary’s this season and is the man they will look to for scores. Barry O’Mahoney has been the main try scorer for Garryowen and can feature again on Saturday.
Betting Advice:
Garryowen are the better side and despite defeat on their last trip to the capital they can put things right here.
