Airtricity League: Sligo Rovers Team News v Bray

Updated: July 6, 2012

Sligo Rovers host Bray Wanderers on Saturday afternoon looking to end the lead at the top of the Airtricity Premier Division.

With rivals St Patrick’s Athletic and Shamrock Rovers not in action until Sunday, it gives Ian Baraclough’s men the chance to opportunity to build on the current four-point gap at the top.
Jason McGuinness is a doubt for the match with a hamstring injury.
New signings Ryan Connolly is available while the club is waiting international clearance on Seamus Conneely and Jeff Henderson. Alan Keane returns from suspension.
The match will be the fourth RTE televised fixture from The Showgrounds this season and a large crowd is expected for the 3:45pm kick-off.
Manager Ian Baraclough has told the club’s official website: “We have plenty of options with such good numbers available this week. The new lads that have come in have trained with us and we’ll make a decision on them, pending clearance.
“It is good to be playing before St Pat’s and Shams and hopefully we can achieve a positive result that will put pressure on them. Bray are capable of springing a surprise against anyone. Pat Devlin will probably be disappointed they haven’t done it more this season because I’ve learned he gets the best out of what is a talented group of young players.
“We’re hoping for a good attendance to get behind us, see the progress on the new stand and experience the good vibe at the club on Saturday and we’ll do our best to get the right result.”
