Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain has admitted that he would be interested in a transfer to the North-London club this summer.

Juventus were thought to be the club in pole position to sign the Real Madrid striker, but following his comments, Higuain has fueled even more speculation with a move to the Gunners.

Despite the interest from Juventus, Higuain said that a move to the Emirates would fit nicely.

“There have already been offers and I hope that Madrid do the best for me and themselves,2 said Higuain.

“Arsenal? They would suit me, I’m still young and I have goals.”

“There are many possibilities. I want to go to a league where I’ll be put to the test.”

Arsenal are in the market for a striker and Higuain is atop their transfer wishlist, but ultimately the decision will be made by the forward himself.
