Barcelona FC are reportedly hoping to sign Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina during the summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Spanish giants see the stopper as the ideal replacement for Victor Valdes. Reina joined Liverpool from Villareal in 2005, and has had a difficult time at Anfield over the past few seasons. He has made a number of costly errors, and it is understood that the Premiership side would be prepared to listen to offers.
Swansea City’s Michel Vorm is a target of Liverpool, and the money they receive from the sale of Reina would be a welcome boost to the Anfield transfer kitty. However, Barcelona have also been linked with Vorm, after Valdes confirmed earlier this season that he was leaving the Nou Camp.
The latter is believed to want a new challenge and has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and PSG.
