Juan Mata scored in the 17th minute to give Rafael Benitez’s side the lead, Fernando Torres’s continued his goal scoring run just after half time to make it 2-0 before Monterrey’s Darvin Chavez turned Juan Mata’s cross to secure victory for Chelsea.
